TMML launches ACTION! Program with Mwzanza donation

TotalEnergies Marketing Malawi Limited (TMML) on 16th February 2022 launched its Action Program by donating to flood victims in Mwanza district.

In collaboration with the local World Women of Prayer group, TMML staff volunteered the day and traveled 248 kilometers to donate solar lamps to 115 victims of flooding caused by tropical storm Ana. TMML also donated 250 liters of fuel for the delivery of food packs to the area.

Speaking to the victims, TMML MD Nerusha Govender gave words of encouragement and acknowledged the emotional toll the loss of homes, property, and time from income generating activities the disaster caused in their lives.

"While this aid we bring may not meet all of your current needs, we believe it is a step in the right direction", she said.

Action! is the TotalEnergies FOUNDATION’s global employee volunteer program.
