2019 Dealers Convention

TML gears up to be the best in 2019

Total Malawi’s Managing Director Salamata Ball has urged all service station dealers nationwide to help the business by being builders of solutions as they are the point of contact on the ground and have first-hand experience in dealing with customers.

In its bid to be the best energy service provider in the country, and the service provider of choice, Total Malawi Limited (TML) held a convention for dealers who run its service stations across the country on 29th March 2019 at Crossroads Hotel in Blantyre under the theme “Excellence in execution”.

Speaking at the convention, Ball commented that the event aimed at reviewing the business done in the year past and refocusing perspectives going forward as a means of improving service delivery through interaction between the dealers and the company.

“It is always good to be recognized as being the best but we need to do more to stay on top of the competition. We need to keep improving and we are more than willing to hear what you have to say that will keep us as the market leader,” she said.

One of the dealers who attended the event representing Machinjiri Service Station in Blantyre, Hendry Chimwaza, observed that the convention was helpful in improving his understanding of the business and promoting better service in the stations.

“For someone attending this convention for the first time I am convinced that Total is focused in how it conducts  business,” he said.

The event also saw stations with excellent performance in 2018 recognized for their efforts. Among the winners were Kazuni Service Station which won Best Fuel seller, Dedza Service Station recognized as the Most Improved Lubricants seller and Sam Singh Service Station which won the Best Solar seller award. TML holds the dealer’s conventions annually and has been doing so for about 10 years.
